We are video highlights specialists based in the New Forest, Hampshire, and focus primarily on local sports. Working well with local associations, we provide free filming and highlights coverage, including the option to purchase extended footage, helping to support clubs and individual talents in our area. SCJ places a special emphasis on promoting women's sport equally. For example, we treat women's football in exactly the same way we would for the men's game. Photo: Bilcliff Photography
Whilst we currently promote and video a handful of sports, there is no sport SCJ won't consider filming. Simply get in touch and, if we are available, we'll get a team down. Photo: Abi Simpson
What else do we do?
We sell extended and full event footage for reasonable prices in our Online Store.
We promote and recognise individual talent as well through interviews and feature videos.
We work with associations both locally, nationally and even internationally and are the trusted videographers for several.
Teams, clubs and events covered by SCJ have noted a sharp rise in interest, attendance or participation.
"South Coast Journalism plays a massive part in the Hants and Dorset rowing scene. It is great to be able to look back at races and memories created throughout the season from a completely impartial view. I think I can speak from the entire association when I say we're incredibly grateful for all the hard work that's put in to creating and narrating the sports videos!"
— Kady Middleton, Rower, Itchen Imperial
"SCJ's reviews of the Hants and Dorset season are by rowers for rowers. They connect in a way all other reports fail. They are professional and always highlight the best bits.."
— Sue Sothcott, H&D ARA Treasurer
