Fareham would open the scoring thanks to striker Ryan Powell, who was a thorn in the side of Denmead's defenders all game, with a bullet of a header in the first half.

A second goal would arrive for Fareham shortly after half time, courtesy of James Sawyer, who managed to keep hold of the ball under pressure from 'keeper Ryan Groves before slotting into Denmead's net.

Shortly afterwards and Denmead were able to pull a goal back. Danny Lucas was under pressure when he collected the ball inside the penalty area but he took his time to get a shot away and scored a very well taken goal.

Having been 2-0 down at one stage, Denmead finally battled back onto level terms as Callum Trevaskis sent a lovely through ball into the path of Ryan Harrison who squeezed it under Jamie Eastman to square the final up.

However, a desperate challenge with 5 minutes to go resulted in a penalty for Fareham and a red card for Hawley, allowing captain Stuart Petrie to win the cup from 12 yards.
