Eldon Celtic would dominate most of the possession during the game but found themselves up against an incredibly resilient Widbrook United side.

Goalkeeper Ashley Wright was undoubtably the star man for Widbrook but his entire team made Eldon Celtic work for this one and the result, despite the possession, was never secure until stoppage time.

A wonderful long range goal from Archie Hase was the highlight, the drive from outside the box putting Eldon Celtic in front during the first half.

It wasn't until the final couple of minutes that Jack Amitaga put the game to bed with a cool finish and a thoroughly deserved goal for his efforts.

Wright would win man of the match, especially after his remarkable one handed reaction save to deny Amitaga from close range.

Eldon Celtic deserved their title after a strong performance in the final, but Widbrook must be highly praised for their hard work throughout.
