The game would begin with snow showering Alton FC's 4G all-weather pitch but the goals wouldn't arrive until the downpour was beginning to stop.

Charlie Glasspool would open the scoring, putting himself in a good position before reacting well to break the deadlock.

However, two goals in quick succession from Eldon Celtic left the score at 2-1 going into half time. A great piece of individual skill from Gatlin O'Donkor drew his side level before Henry Mott finished from close range to give them the lead.

However, with Eldon Celtic reduced to 10 players due to a "last man foul", a rocket of a free kick from Owen Walsh sent this game into a penalty shootout.

Two penalty saves from Billy Brophy kept his side in the shootout until sudden death before a missed spot kick confirmed the win for Oakwood.
