In an enthralling cup final, which was drawn 2-2 in normal time, Gosport secured the penalty shoot-out win deep in sudden death.

Electric had originally gone in front thanks after Oliver Alkiviades picked the pocket of the Gosport defence and fired his side ahead.

However Gosport would pull themselves back on level terms when Brandon McKinnon sent a stunning 40 yard free kick into the Electric goal just before half time.

Electric regained the lead shortly after the half time break through Alkiviades once more as he again chased down a long ball forwards, scoring quickly to send the Bournemouth supporters into jubilation.

However, they had only just finished bouncing in the stand when Gosport equalised for the second time. Jadore Gordon would be the goalscorer but it was hearts-in-mouths for a moment before his shot bounced in off the post.

Gosport shot-stopper Harry Page made a superb full stretch save in stoppage time to send the game into a penalty shoot-out, where he then saved two spot-kicks before Electric missed in sudden death.
