The 8-2 final score was fairly harsh on Fleetlands who had made a game of it for the first 75 minutes.

They took the lead after Winchester 'keeper Dan Chapman flapped at Charlie Taylor's cross and the ball ended up in the net.

However, a penalty from Nick Judd and a well hit shot from Dave Reading saw Winchester into a 2-1 lead at half time.

That lead lasted just minutes into the second half as Stanley Edwards curled a lovely goal into the top corner to pull Fleetlands level.

Winchester would soon go in front again as Michael Tickner fired home from inside the area before Reading put the game out of Fleetlands reach.

The team in blue crumbled from there and soon Tickner sent his second into the back of the net. The scoring was completed by sub Stewart Beck who put away a hat-trick in the final few minutes.
