On Saturday 13th May, New Milton Eagles took on the Eagles Legends, made up of ex-Eagles players, for the Mr Terence Cup, in honour of the late Terry Smith

Highlights of the match are available in the posted video.

Eagles wore orange, whilst the Legends wore all white, in honour of an ex-Eagles player Martin "Sideburns" Phillips (a loyal Leeds United fan) that passed away last August.

The Legends would take the lead early in the first half as a shot from Shaun Waterman squirmed out of the grasp of goalkeeper Cameron Chalmers and into the net.

However, the Eagles would equalise soon after Justin Keeler slotted the ball in from close range.

Again the Legends put themselves in front shortly after half time with Olly Luchoomun scoring after Chalmers had saved with his foot.

But the Eagles drew level once more as Chris Payne set up Martin Stubbings for a straight forward tap in.

The legends should have won in normal time, however, as they missed two clear chances.

Although, they did need a penalty save from Matt Hayworth to force a shoot-out. In the end, Chalmers would save two penalties to Hayworth's one, and it was the Eagles who were victorious.
