This was the first time that Hythe & Dibden FC had hosted a cup final in it's history and there was nearly a goal inside the first minute, but goalkeeper George Hill made a smart save to deny Stoneham a quick opener.

However, it would be Petersfield Town who opened the scoring before the half time break as Joe Boxall fired them in front via the underside of the bar.

They quickly scored a second after the break as Max Smith ran onto Luke Kendall's through ball and doubled their advantage.

Four minutes later Dan Spreadbury would drag Stoneham back into the game but they couldn't find an equaliser, allowing Petersfield to see out the win, completing a league and cup double in the process.
