Brockenhurst had the majority of the chances in a physical game between the two sides but it was Lymington who would away their own to ensure a 2-0 win.

Sam House only had two shots on goal in the 90 minutes but he finished the game with a perfect record after scoring with both.

The first came as he earned himself a few yards of space before slotting the ball low past Matt Taylor’s fingers to put the away side in front.

Less than two minutes after the half time break, he would score again with a diving header, giving Lymington the crucial breathing space they needed.

Brockenhurst’s best chance of the game arrived in the first half but Matt Sheedy could only fire the ball clean over the Lymington crossbar.
