Hythe put themselves in front first thanks to a free kick from Matt Smith. His effort from outside the box opened the scoring, but it was a goal from inside it that levelled things up.

After the hosts had conceded a penalty, Tony Eastwood pulled his side back to 1-1. However, just minutes later, the away side were reduced to 10 men as Tom Brazil was shown a second yellow card for blocking a quick free kick.

It wasn't until 10 seconds into the second half that another goal was scored. Bagshot's Gil de Souza put away a goal before the referee had barely taken his whistle back out of his mouth but again Hythe rallied immediately as Ben Slade equalised with a neat finish.

de Souza would score once more with just 12 minutes to go and put Bagshot on the brink of the next round.

Unfortunately for them, Hythe equalised once more with less than five minutes to play thanks to a long range strike from Jack Attrill before Lewis Hay scored two minutes into stoppage time to send Hythe through.
