HAMPSHIRE FA BEAT BOURNEMOUTH FA IN FRIENDLY

The best players from around the Hampshire and Bournemouth Football Associations met in a special friendly at New Milton Town FC on Wednesday night.

The Hampshire FA took an early lead in the match thanks to a goal from Luke Musselwaite before Dean Seal equalised just a few minutes later.

Luke Watts gave Hampshire the lead again less than a minute after the Bournemouth equaliser.

Second half goals from Musselwaite and Watts took the Hampshire score up to 5-1 in the second half before a late Max Crowe penalty earned Bournemouth a second.

Highlights of the first sixty minutes of the game are available in the posted video. Unfortunately, a freak technical fault with both our cameras meant that we were unable to film the final stages of the game.

Disappointingly, this included the final two goals from Hampshire and the penalty for Bournemouth.

We believe the fault was with the batteries and was caused by a combination of the cold temperatures and the moist air.
